Session keys for Base are a big deal The owner of a wallet no longer needs to manually approve each transaction. They can set a pre-approved limit for each app, and the app can perform transactions in their behalf. This unlocks various use cases. First, user actions (imagine liking or minting something, an in game purchase, etc) become much lower friction. Think double tap on Instagram vs a whole wallet approval step. Next, it makes subscription payments possible, something that has gone unsolved for a long time in crypto. Finally, the app can do work in the background, like an AI agent.
