Great day at the Colorado SkillsUSA State Conference. Champions and runner-up for Robotics, Architecture, and Auto Customer Service. Champions in Tech Math and Quiz Bowl. Amazing group of students!

Finals time! Both teams pair for a 3 seed.

End of qualifying rounds. Doherty Robots ranked 4th and 9th. Outstanding driving by Ishan Brown and Kevin Sanchez this morning.

Team Z wins their second match with an elevated robot. Our robots are built to work together.

Team X wins their first match. Team Z wins their first autonomous. Spartans are ready to robo.

Robots pasted inspections, new programming is smooth, time to hang out and have fun.

Colorado State VEX Robotics Tournament at Widefield HS today. Let’s go Spartans!

Great day for Spartan Robotics. Today Team Z won the Excellence Award and Team X won the Skills Contest with 320 points. Then both teams won the Tournament of Champions award. These kids worked very hard and are class acts. Thanks @SabinSaints for hosting @cte_cssd11 for lunch!

Doherty teams align 97445X & 97445Z align and move on to semifinal 2. Then team 97445A aligned with Mesa Ridge HS and also move onto semifinal 2. At least one Doherty Bot will move on to finals!

Relentless programming by Ishan and Kevin has put both teams on the top of the Skills field score board amazing @DohertyPLTW Engineering and Computer Science students.

Great qualifying rounds this morning at the Sabin tournament all three Doherty Robots are in the Top Ten!

Team X and A advanced to the quarter finals.

Having fun at our first Robotics tournament of the season. After qualifying rounds Doherty Bots are in 6th, 17th, and 22nd. Now onto finals!

Congrats to 2021 grads Garrett Bogan and Branden Spengler. Thank you for 4 years hard work in Doherty Engineering. These guys pulled this project off despite the last minute remote learning. Your creative problem solving and persistence will take you far, good luck! @DohertyPLTW
