Hello all, I do research on #games4impact, #games4health and #games4DSI. This means I’m interested in making of, use of, impact of games in a variety of fields to help making the world a better place. Quite idealistic, right... but why not...

I came across to this taxonomy that I started a while ago🤭 This was my attempt to classify games w/ Physical Activity. Now I think, the right section prob be better of as "games with some or no PA" and active VG need a better definition🤔 #games4health

Early this may, I presented at the Play.by Play Conference #pbp25 in Wellington about designing games for exercise rehabilitation, shared some learnings from my design exploration during my doctoral project and the prototype made for it.

I gave a keynote at the Games for Health Conference in Netherlands 7 years ago. It was terrifying but also a lot of fun. The topic of may talk was how we can transform healthcare with the help of games and what would be essentials of this transformation. #games4health

Anyway, all I'm saying is it all comes together. most of the time through some growing pains. At the end of the day, a PhD is mostly about perseverance, a continuous will that can make something (responding a RQ) happen within reason and evidence. #AcademicLife #AcademicChatter
