Hello everyone, Another year has passed, and we welcome the new one. I hope all of you have been doing well! It feels surreal that two months have passed since the last protest. During this time, I’ve been so glad to hear updates about Seunghan’s recent situation. Immediately after the protest, SM Entertainment issued a statement regarding legal actions and Seunghan and RIIZE’s future activities. However, I believe their response was insufficient, as they failed to address the improper display of condolence wreaths, provide proper accountability for the incident, restore the artist’s reputation, and clarify the unclear departure process. The silence and evasiveness of their response left many still feeling frustrated and unsettled. First, I would like to clarify that I am not the same person as the leader of last year’s protest. I have taken up the cause following their efforts and, like them, have heard many opinions about how best to support and cheer on the members. I understand everyone’s differing views, and I believe there can be common ground despite these differences. The members of RIIZE are in a difficult position when it comes to discussing their activities in 2023. The stigmatization and harassment resulting from rumors have not yet ended, and the situation has become an obstacle to their progress. The fact that such issues are being neglected by management is deeply concerning. I ask whether this kind of operation and the company’s approach will prevent the recurrence of past issues for the future of the RIIZE members. Rather than focusing on a narrative of victim versus perpetrator, I believe there is still a way forward where all seven members of RIIZE can move forward together. I am extremely grateful to the fans who continue to speak out. I believe their voices, as well as those who have issued statements from various countries, should continue to be heard. This is why I decided to organize this protest, albeit on a smaller scale, to convey the messages of those who are still supporting and calling for justice for all seven members. I remember the protest we held last time, which was the collective effort of fans from all around the world, unwilling to ignore the injustice. I believe it’s important to remind everyone that we are still watching and that these issues have not been forgotten. I intend to once again send a message to SM Entertainment, continuing the spirit of the last protest. Also maybe change turnout to attendance so, I expect that attendance may be smaller this time, and I feel guilty asking you to stand out in harsh weather. while I initially planned to do this as a one-person protest, having even one other person join me would mean so much. 안녕하세요 여러분. 어느덧 한 해가 지나가고 새해를 맞았습니다. 모두 잘 지내셨나요? 마지막 시위가 끝난 이후 새로운 소식들이 들려올 때 2개월이란 시간이 흘렀다는게 체감됩니다. 그동안 승한이의 근황을 알 수 있는 소식도 들려오게 되어 정말 기쁩니다. 시위 직후 SM엔터테인먼트는 법적 대응에 대한 공지와 승한과 라이즈의 활동 계획에 대해 발표를 했습니다. 하지만 비상식적인 근조화환 전시에 대한 제대로된 귀책도, 아티스트 명예 회복에 대한 점도, 불분명한 탈퇴과정에 대한 대답을 충분히 밝히지 않은 침묵 요구식 대답이었다고 생각합니다. 그래서 일련의 사태를 지켜보며 충격받은 분들의 마음은 여전히 풀리지 않는 답답함을 겪고 계신 것 같습니다. 우선 저는 작년 승한 복귀 시위를 진행한 총대분과 다른 사람임을 밝힙니다. 이전 총대분의 뜻을 이어받은 저 또한 멤버들을 응원하고 지지하는 방식에 대한 많은 의견을 들었고 각자 가진 생각들을 이해합니다. 하지만 의견이 같지는 않아도 서로 양립가능한 입장이라는 것도 있다고 생각합니다. 라이즈 멤버들은 2023년 활동에 대해 언급을 하기 어려운 상황이며, 루머로 인한 낙인과 괴롭힘이 종식되지 않은 점, 잠재적으로 놔두기엔 소수가 아닌 사람들이 운영으로선 활동 저해 요소로 여겨지고 상황임에도 동시에 방치되는 점 등 비상식적인 운영방식이 지속되고 있습니다. 이것이 라이즈 멤버들의 미래에 있어 앞선 사태를 반복하지 않을 수 있는 회사의 방침인지 묻습니다. 이를 회피하고 어느쪽을 향해 가해-피해 구도를 만들기보다, 7명의 라이즈가 함께 나아갈 수 있는 해결책이 아직 여전히 존재한다고 생각합니다. 아직까지 많은 목소리를 내 주시고 있는 팬분들께 감사드립니다. 7명의 라이즈 멤버 모두를 응원하고 싶은 분들의 마음이 표현되어야 한다고 생각합니다. 시간이 지나도 목소리를 내주시는 분들의 마음과, 각 국에서 성명을 내주는 분들의 목소리를 대변하자는 취지로 이번 시위를 작게나마 열자고 결심했습니다. 부당함을 좌시하지 않은 전 세계의 팬들의 마음이 합쳐 만들어진 저번 시위를 기억하고 있습니다. 꾸준히 사태를 지켜보고 있다는 목소리가 여전히 있다는 점을 전달되어야 한다고 생각합니다. 저번 시위의 뜻을 이어서 한번 더 SM엔터테인먼트에 메세지를 전달하고자 하고자 합니다. 시위에 참여하실 인원은 적을 것으로 예상되고 저번보다 규모가 작아질거라고 예측됩니다. 그리고 저로서도 혹독한 날씨에 여러분을 서 있게 만들기 죄송한 심정입니다. 그래서 1인 시위를 계획하였으나, 같이 참여하고 싶으신 분이 단 한 분이라도 계신다면 함께 뜻을 모으는게 더욱 의미가 있는 것 같아 시위를 공지드리게 됐습니다. 이번 시위는 인원이 아무리 적더라도 그대로 진행할 예정입니다. 참가 의향이 있으시면 DM 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다.
