I’m deeply saddened to awake to the horrific news of the terror attack in Bondi. My prayers for those who lost their lives and families impacted by this senseless attack on our Jewish community, our state and our country’s values.

#Argentina is stepping up. Clearer rules, competitive taxes and a serious growth agenda. Great to meet Ambassador @Alejandrito and hear firsthand how the government is opening the door to global investment. Vicuña Corp’s Filo del Sol and Josemaría projects are ones to watch.

Australian capital is helping build America’s future. Over 400 Aussie firms operate in California alone, supporting tens of thousands of jobs and generating significant economic impact. Great to meet with Aussie businesses who are working in LA and across the US, to the benefit of both our nations.

After one of the longer weeks I’ve had in politics, what I feel more than anything is an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Gratitude to have served as a Minister, as Treasurer, and as Premier of NSW. Gratitude for the trust placed in us to imagine a better future and to build it.

Democracy in action. No matter what your political persuasion, it was great to join dedicated volunteers at pre-poll today. At this election, it’s only the Liberals and Nationals with the long term economic plan, the experience and the energy to keep our state moving forward.

Stephen will be dearly missed, and we wish his wife Sue and his family and friends every comfort at this difficult time.

Stephen leaves a proud and lasting legacy: the Manning Base Hospital redevelopment, new ambulance stations at Forster and Old Bar and a commitment to deliver a public hospital for the Forster community, a credit to the man and to his dedication to the people of Myall Lakes.
