Costco’s average wage is now over $31/hour  After 6 years, employees get bonuses up to $5,500/year, plus 1.5x Sunday pay… pulling experienced clerks toward $80K/year with no degree, no debt. Meanwhile, 2026 grads could face the highest jobless rate in years, partly due to AI eliminating entry-level roles  So basically you are celebrating $35K in debt, for a piece of paper, a camera roll filled with drunk photos of nights you don’t remember, a bunch of textbooks that you never opened, a solid understanding of how to hold your liquor, how to ask chat gpt to fake your work experience, and you’re competing for a cashier job against someone already making $32/hr at Costco who never took a loan in their life. And AI just took the entry-level role you were supposed to start at. Don’t take it from me, take it from this guy who took 4 years to realize the system is stacked against you and he should have bought bitcoin instead.

Unpopuläre Beobachtung: Während alle von 5G, Smart Cities und maximaler Digitalisierung träumen… …fühlt es sich für mich gerade genau andersrum richtig an. Ich bin aktuell in Regionen unterwegs, wo es kaum Infrastruktur gibt. Teilweise nur 3G. Manchmal gar kein stabiles Netz. Ich versuche große Städte und 1. Welt Länder eher zu meiden. Und weißt du was? 👉 Es fühlt sich für mich menschlicher an. Mehr Präsenz. Weniger Dauer-Überwachung im Hintergrund. Weniger Digitalisierung. Vielleicht bilde ich mir das ein. Vielleicht romantisiere ich es. Aber ich habe das Gefühl: Je „moderner“ ein System wird, desto mehr Kontrolle wird möglich. Digitale IDs, Tracking, totale Vernetzung… Alles wird effizienter. Aber auch transparenter - für andere. Und genau deshalb wird etwas unterschätzt: 👉 Nicht maximal entwickelt zu sein, ist nicht immer ein Nachteil. In manchen Fällen ist es ein Schutz. Ein Feature. Nicht alles, was technisch möglich ist, macht das Leben automatisch besser. Vielleicht liegt echte Freiheit nicht in der perfekten Infrastruktur… …sondern in den Lücken dazwischen. Aktuell bin ich in Mexiko und hatte noch nie mehr als 4G In El Salvador hab ich meistens auch maximal 4G Für mich ist das ein Feature kein Bug… Länder ohne 5G, werden viel unwahrscheinlicher Digitale IDs, CBDCs usw einführen. Aktuell bin ich am liebsten in 3. oder 2. Welt Länder und Feier es… Was denkt ihr?
