@Stumped4words1 @Motters23 Bank holidays worked years gone by, I see how that’s the easier option. Would imagine most sides would favour that 🤷‍♂️. Had thought there’d be no issue BL playing alongside playoffs, hadn’t considered that leagues with 2nd XI teams have to start early

@domh2002 @Motters23 Play Offs make late September difficult Dom as county leagues have to be finished first and all BL clubs have teams in them sharing main grounds. Bank Holidays are.much the easiest answer.

How has common sense not prevailed and all cricket leagues delay the start of the season for 2weeks? Use the bank holiday Mondays to fulfill the fixtures? Mind boggling that we are prepared to just chuck two games away or play on swamps that will ruin the grounds for the season!

@RobPlaister @Motters23 Would accept this, if there wasn't a running theme of April being wetter and late September being drier, and enough time to be proactive about it. Just a case of wanting all teams to play as many games as possible in the best conditions possible - I might be being too idealistic
