We never wanted to become big in tokenizing equities. It's a distraction and something that the larger L1s like Solana or Ethereum can do better than us as they have large financial institutions to work with. We are purely focused on commodities and trade finance. Which is actively happening with TWIN, Salus and Tradedollar (which will launch on IOTA Mainnet in Q2)

Not true... It is abundantly clear that "Web3 adoption" and the playbook of the past hasn't worked for the last year. The only thing that matters is bringing real businesses and real adoption onchain to IOTA. This is what we've been focused on, and this is what the IOTA Manifesto clearly lays out: manifesto.iota.org Everything mentioned there is what we are 100% focused on realizing on IOTA. We reduced the workforce by ~10% over the past week as we are combining all of our resources (no more separate "TWIN team") to focus on TWIN and bringing trade fully onchain on IOTA.

Had a fantastic and productive trip in Korea. There was such a postive energy there, with deep support from the Blue House and large enterprises and financial institutions committed to building on crypto. The pitch of IOTA, with our key focus of establishing a global trade infrastructure with TWIN, is a key differentiator to all the other projects. We are helping crypto move past the speculative bubble towards real world adoption. We have a deep commitment to Korea and will move forward to connect the country onchain and bring forth a new wave of crypto adoption and acceptance. You can expect a lot more news in coming months. Can't wait to come back to Korea soon (and eat more amazing food and try k-beauty products).

What started out as a small pilot with a few thousand consignments, is now growing to a larger testbed across the UK 🇬🇧 We are bringing the real world onchain to IOTA, step by step. Through our work together with the UK Cabinet Office and Teesside University, we have proven that crucial data can be accessed 20 hours earlier. Now we are scaling up the effort as part of the Tesside Digital Trade Testbed. The impact of digitizing trade is enormous: "According to ICC UK's Roadmap to Digitalise UK Trade, full digitalization could deliver £25 billion in trade growth and £224 billion in efficiency savings, with a 35% efficiency gain for SMEs."
