MISSING PERSON The person in the picture is Fuad Olamiposi Oladipupo, a 200 level student of Economics Department of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State. He left home on Monday, 18th May, 2026 without his own personal phone then by 9:00pm he called his Mum that he was already in Ife then on Tuesday his Mum called to check on him with the no he used and the person that picked the call said it was not in Ife but in Oshodi Lagos. So he is neither in school nor in Ibadan. And since then we have not heard from him. Please, if found contact 08034016097, his Mum.

There was a day I took a stroll around the neighbourhood and stopped by a provision store to buy a bottle of soft drink and a snack. While I was there, I noticed a little boy staring at me intensely, like he wanted me to give him what I was eating. I jokingly told his mum to get him a snack so he wouldn’t keep doing that to every customer, but she refused, saying she didn’t want him getting used to it. The boy kept staring anyway, so I eventually shared some of my snack with him. After a while, he went back to playing. Then he came back again asking for the drink, and I just let him have it. The next day, I was surprised when some people came looking for me at home. I hardly even get visitors, so it was strange. Later, they arrived again ….this time the woman from the shop, accompanied by a group of vigilantes. She accused me, asking what I had given her son, saying that since the previous day he had been vomiting, couldn’t talk properly, and had become mentally unstable. I was completely shocked. I asked where the boy was, and she said he was at home. I then suggested we take him to the hospital, because if something was really wrong, it needed proper medical attention. After several tests were done, the result showed it was typhoid. I quietly walked out and went home, while they were still processing everything.

This is almost impossible in a male hostel. In Unilorin, boys basically cook and share everything together. Even if you don’t have foodstuff, you are covered. There is a guy called AY. He cooks well. We just give AY foodstuffs and he will cook jointly for everyone. Seth was a good cook as well. But I understand this arrangement for ladies. Most of them love to do things separately. It’s better for them that way to avoid conflict. Before they will fight now and Kemi and Bunmi will remind Bisi that for a whole session, they were feeding Bisi from with their own foodstuff. There are some boys at the junction to my street that always hail me whenever they see me… but I usually just ignore and move. One Saturday, I saw them again at my gate while I was about to throw refuse. As usual: "Boss! Boss!!" I nodded small and moved on. Then they were like: "Na us you dey always see for junction o!" I just laughed small and gave them 2k that day. Since then, anytime I pass, we’re a bit familiar. But this morning… I was on a call going out and my voice was a bit raised (nothing serious o). Next thing, they rushed towards me: "Boss! Who dey threaten you?! Drop location!" I just froze Told them it’s nothing. They now said: "Okay boss, nobody should worry you o" And left. Lol 😆
