On 7 May 1954, a convoy from Buff Bill's Circus, carrying animals including lions and horses, came crashing through the streets of Dungannon bbc.in/4bd5zDS

Donaghmore, Dungannon and the local area has a long history of drama, culture, creativity and the arts. Mary MacGinty will explore this tradition, developed from early times to the present day. Her story will help us understand how important drama has been to the community.

In October 1845, the local potato crop was hit by blight. Years of suffering would follow as successive crops failed- starvation, disease and emigration soon became a daily occurrence in the Dungannon area. All welcome THIS Monday at 8pm. #dungannon #irishfamine #tyronefamine
