VSU has announced new names for four buildings that were previously unnamed on campus. The VSU Board of Visitors approved renaming each building to honor Black women, all VSU alums, who have made significant contributions to Virginia State University, as it stands today.

VSU has announced a partnership with the Virginia Department of Health Crater Health District to assist with COVID-19 vaccination clinics. During today’s clinics at the @VSUMPC 500 vaccinations were administered to local community members.

@Treyoung__ @makolaabdullah @VSU_1882 Congratulations to you as an official VSU Alumn. I agree the current wait time of 8 weeks to receive a diploma is unacceptable. That is why VSU will be implementing Diplomas on Demand to expedite the process. We will not have to depend on the long process of an outside vendor.

@makolaabdullah @VSU_1882 why is it when we pay y’all money it take forever for things to get done? I.e. Fall & December 2020 grads waited forever for their degrees to arrive. But when y’all want y’all money we basically harassed and hit with a late fee! Please do better! 🙃
