@betsylevyp On soft maples, such as silver maple or box elder, that pattern is associated with a fungus. If that is a silver maple, the ambrosia beetle leaves a blue fungus trail.

@JasonKirkSBN I can’t say for sure given my lack of combat experience, but due to his advanced age there’s a good chance that I would prevail over Donald Duck.
