Day 10 of 30 was all about being grateful for our place. We read The Grateful Book, and focused on the page that shared about gratitude for forests. We went to our own forest to find out what we might be grateful for. We chose trees. #getoutside #deltalearnsoutside

How can we collect facts from nonfiction videos and books to create our webs? How can key words and diagrams help us learn about landforms and water bodies? #sd38learn

Dear @LeytonSchnell & @fayebrownlie Today my class ‘exploded’ a very boring poem and turned it into something awesome. We are writing forest poems. Thanks for the strategy from last year @Surrey_Schools workshops. My kids were amazed with the powerful ideas.
