@FabrizioRomano I think either Palmer or Foden should’ve made the squad as they posses different profiles. Eze has to be the only pure no 10 here.

Victor Gyokeres did what Bruno Fernandes couldn't do for Sporting CP twice, then came to England and still beat him to a PL title at the first try

For everyone who suffered through 8-2. For everyone who half 6 at Stamford Bridge in Wenger’s 1,000th game. For everyone who suffered through Baku. For everyone who had to go to school after conceding 10 to Bayern. Today is for you. Drink it all in. We deserve this.

Peter Obi and Kwankwaso are not poor men. They don't need to use their money to bribe voters or give them bags of rice and garri. They should join funds together with all well-meaning Nigerians, and their party to: 1. Build a high tech central collation center and hire tech gurus to man it. 2. Pay volunteers and mobilization groups to cover for logistics. 3. Ensure that they have delegates in all 774 local governments (if possible) in Nigeria and all polling units who would live stream the results to the collation center. 4. Embark on massive grassroots awareness and campaigns across the country, especially in the remote areas of Nigeria. 5. Form an alliance with local and foreign media and alert them to any malpractices taking place. 6. Mobilize religious leaders to constantly campaign for them in the churches and mosques all over the country. The efforts would yield very good results. In my own little capacity, I am willing to donate N3m towards their campaign. Whether they win or not, I'll not regret it. End.

My understanding is Pep Guardiola will step down at the end of the season with Enzo Maresca all but agreed to take charge next season. Let me explain. Everyone at their club knows this is the direction of travel and they have gone as far as to talk about naming a stand in his honour. The reason it has not been reported as of yet is because every single credible journalist fears Pep and his erratic nature of making a U-Turn “out of the blue” and you cant attach your lifes work and reputation to such a erratic yet genius human being without being 100000% sure and I respect that. In summary, City have prepared for life without him with everything in place hoping he says “ we cannoh replace me” The direction of travel is for him to step down and they have agreed an in-depth package with Maresca. They will deny it and I respect that but… Let the chips fall where they may.

@Dir_Martinsz @Pressman2040 Bros, stop massaging his stupid ego. Skales clearely pointed out the harassment and extortion going on. His only mistake was misrepresenting the particular force which you can’t blame him for. Not everyone can easily spot the difference by just looking at uniforms

There's a reason you're a failed musician you can't even distinguish the Army from the Air Force. The personnel you're crying about at Lagos airport are not soldiers. They are Nigerian Air Force personnel. Before you open your mouth to insult the uniform, learn the difference. And here's the news: security operatives at airports anywhere in the world stop and search vehicles. It is called force protection. Not bullying. Not harassment. If you are not breaking any law, you have nothing to fear. But your entitlement is showing you think being young or driving a luxury car exempts you from security checks. That's not how it works. The Nigerian military has not lost its honour. You lost your career because you have no talent. Don't project your bitterness on men and women who actually serve this nation. Stay in your lane. @HQNigerianAirForce, please educate this civilian on airport security protocols. He clearly needs it.
SKALES@youngskales

@HQNigerianArmy just to let you know the soldiers that you put at the lagos international airport have become nuisance… all they do now is stop luxurious cars & bully the drivers and passengers-just because they are young then ask for Martel money… the Nigerian army use to have honor but it’s filled with jokers now … hopefully you do something about this

They told you hypertension has symptoms. That you'd feel it coming. Nkechi, Emeka, that is the lie killing Nigerians. 38% of adult Nigerians have hypertension. And many of them don't know yet. It's World Hypertension Day. Let's talk. 🧵

Lol, why would I delete it? Back in 2020, because of the exceptional performance of Seyi Makinde during his first term, I said he had the qualities to be President. Fast forward to 2023, while he was contesting for reelection as governor, Peter Obi came on the scene and, based on his track record, I volunteered to be his campaign photographer pro bono because I genuinely believed he was fit for the job. I didn’t stop at taking pictures. I went back to my polling unit on election Day, voted, bought snacks, and encouraged people to stay until every single vote was counted. Peter Obi won there too. For context, that polling unit is close to the PDP national secretariat in AkwaIbom, and Udom Emmanuel was the PDP campaign DG. In 2025, I returned and continued my work as his photographer. So why exactly should I be ashamed that I saw visionary leadership in 2020 and wanted it at the national level? Unlike some political jobbers who once praised Peter Obi and later switched up, I’ve never changed my stance on Seyi Makinde. I’ve never insulted or disrespected him. I’m not just a supporter of Peter Obi, I work for and with him. He has the capacity to lead this country, and Seyi Makinde does too, based on proven track records. At the end of the day, it’s better for productive and competent people to contest elections than to leave leadership in the hands of drug dealers, certificate forgers, and people with no traceable background. I want a Nigeria that works and I’m happy the race is competitive, unlike the coronation some people were hoping to have.
