This isn't something I wanted to do I struggle every day with mental health Some days are up others....not so much I have been trying to build a better life over the past year, and it's not easy but I finally thought I was getting somewhere Earlier this week I got sold onto some sales coaching, figuring it could help give me a boost into making my business a reality Unfortunately it very quickly became apparent that the so called coach was not able to deliver what they had promised, A poorly edited document with generic advice claiming to be a sales funnel But hey I gave it the benefit of the doubt But the biggest nail in this coffin was the poor communication, lack of punctuality and failure to turn up for the booked coaching sessions I'm a busy person and I don't have much disposable income I've worked long enough to know first impressions matter And well, this was a hugely poor first impression for a service I had paid for I decided that rather than waste any more of my time I would take advantage of the promised 'no questions 100% money back guarantee if I wasn't satisfied' After spending most of the day being insulted and having to explain several times why I wanted said refund and finally having to put in a claim through PayPal to get them to return my investment, this so called 'Coach' left me with some very unprofessional messages But I left it at that, blocked and moved on And subsequently spent the rest of my day with that all familiar voice creeping back into my head telling me how much of a failure I am But what made me come here and post this? I nearly got sucked into a Russian Mafia court case In September I was offered a podcast host role A chubby Russian flee journalist gathered me and a bunch of youngsters to launch a live podcast The goal was to help Russian speaking community to settle in Spain Some sponsor was going to cover all the expenses on studio, professional equipment and salary for hosts It was too good to be true So I chose to wait and see Weeks passed but our team had no clear vision on the next steps Suddenly, multiple conflicts emerged in our telegram chat The journalist was upset for: • Us not paying for the studio • Not getting free work from us • Spending 50 euros on a picnic Actually that expensive picnic was the only thing we got from him at that point You see?
