Nephrectomy via a dorsal lumbotomy approach is helpful (and quick!) in patients with hostile abdomens. No LOS difference vs. MIS approach. As a surgeon-scientist, I don't get the chance to write technical surgical papers often, so this was fun + artwork! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33774041/
