Picked first broad beans & dug new potatoes. Also pulled up my first radishes. Made my 3rd sourdough loaf of bread.

Sowed row of radish seeds.

Sowed 2 rows of spring onion seed. Planted 2 rows of beetroot plants.

Picked the first runner beans this year.Planted another row of lettuce plants. Eating lots of lettuce, radish & courgettes + new potatoes.

Planted 2 rows of leek plants & 1 row of lettuce. Sowed more lettuce seeds.

Dug Rocket potatoes. We don't think that they have as nice a flavour as Foremost. Planted purple sprouting plants.

Picked 2 more bucket loads of broad beans & shelled them, also picked remainder of blackcurrants.

Cooked the remainder of last years crop of beetroot, should be enough for a few weeks without having to buy from Sainsburys.

Sowed radish seeds in between courgette plants.

Picked & shelled the first broad beans. Many more to be picked.

Sowed row of beetroot seeds.Plants I planted previously all pecked by birds? they may survive after covering with netting.

Planted another 10 runner bean plants, also 6 lettuce, had to protect them from the birds & slugs,Pricked out 12 purple sprouting seedlings.

Dug and ate our first new potatoes this year from garden this evening. These were planted last autumn and covered with my mini greenhouse.

Planted 3 courgettes, covered them each with mini greenhouses to protect them from the wind & cold.

Planted primo cabbage & another row of beetroot,also sowed radish & carrot seeds.Still pulling bunches of spring onions,70p in Sainsburys

Planted out 10 runner bean plants + seeds in between them. Planted rest of seed potatoes in where compost heap was.
