The empire just pulled another act of pure piracy in the Indian Ocean. US Navy forces boarded and seized the VLCC Tifani, a 330-metre crude oil tanker carrying two million barrels loaded straight from Iran’s Kharg Island. This is the second Iranian linked vessel they’ve grabbed in the last 72 hours, just 24 hours before American and Iranian delegates are supposed to sit down for the second round of peace talk theater in Islamabad. While Washington plays gunboat pirate and brags about enforcing the blockade, Lloyd’s List already confirmed the truth: at least 26 Iranian commercial vessels have sailed straight through the US naval cordon since it was declared. The empire can seize a tanker here and there for the cameras, but it can’t stop the flow. Iran’s fleet keeps moving, the oil keeps reaching its buyers, and the blockade is already a laughing stock before the next peace theater round has even begun. The owners of these waters have spoken and the US Navy is left chasing ghosts across the ocean while the real traffic sails on.
