@LFCLiamG Like last year I was disgusted with a team as good as we looked playing like we did. And somewhat allowed it because we got a great result. Think we showed more fight, more threat this season, just didn’t get that same amount of (considerable) luck.

@LFCLiamG Maybe better than last year though. I think we were on about 0.1xG until the Elliott goal. We looked more likely to score today and had a less heroic goalkeeping performance. It was by no means *good* for a Liverpool team. But it was a lot less bad than I feared it could be.

Wirtz, Kerkez, Gomez all excellent. Ekitiké’s worst performance as a Red. I really liked what Slot did today until that quadruple sub. Robertson’s almost ended the tie, Wirtz was by far our best attacking player throughout and looked less tired than most of the team.

@LFCLiamG I think he should be gone. I don’t think it was a bad performance for 70 minutes, when you consider how bad this team has looked at times this season, and how we played there in this game last season.

@50ShadesOfEndo I think for 70 minutes we kept the game close enough for the return leg… They had two good chances, having scored from a deflection. That quadruple sub was insanity.
