@alicekeeler Luckily, my school district doesn't restrict personal days. My students are going to the park and skating on Tuesday, so I took off to pick up my aunt from the airport, and I have an eye appointment. I'm happy because I don't have to write lesson plans!!!

My kids came home from school... they did fun activities in the gym (no complaints) but it makes me wonder the purpose of policies that restrict teachers from using this as a personal day for an extended vacation when it has the least amount of impact on student learning
