For those who wrote in reply to what below, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Fortunately, doctors now believe it's not what they initially thought. Having a final stage 4 kidney disease (due to a transplant that didn't work as expected) means one cannot access CT scans with contrast medium or MRIs with gadolinium without destroying the residual function, so one may prefer to revert to more invasive and time consuming diagnostics. Even cancer markers like CA 19-9, as ADPKD carrier, are totally out of range likely due to hepatic cysts, and also this causes difficulties and often panic. But in the end, it looks like I don't have an immediate threat, apart some minor issues like a potential slight pancreatitis with minor symptoms and a new known malformation. With ADPKD at the final stage, the abdomen is really hard to observe, being full of cysts and other amenities. This is really one major concern less among the ones I already have to manage. So, many thanks for all the beautiful messages below: they were much appreciated, even though in the immediate aftermath I didn't have enough courage/strength to reply. But, I kept on posting and in some ways, this confirms again that it helps keep my mind a bit out of the panic and overthinking.
