@davieToronto I agree it is dangerous and not cool. To me it was, "do I want to fight X guy" or not...I did not honestly care about weight. See that scare on my neck? That is how our fight ended. A shot to the throat. I was weakened. It was due to over training more than 168. I weighed 163..

Right on. We've seen Chris Byrd, Roy Jones, Chris Eubank Jr & countless others ruin their careers/health succumbing to catch weight fts. My pal Donny LaLonde knows all too well vs SRL(pool nt in the '90's)

Props to Badou Jack for walking away from what would be an insane fight for him to take. Others have sold out for the money in recent years and it cost them. This catchweight bullshit has to stop! The sanctioning orgs need to do something about it.
