I have to say the combination of Tidewave + ui.sh for AI-assisted design is pretty awesome. Tidewave vision mode means Claude Code can see the result of what it does and iterate in real time. And ui dot sh helps a lot as a non designer.

Today: Full-time on Langua. Building something I believe in. Present for my 4 kids. I'm deeply grateful to Google—it changed my life. But it also taught me: Stability is what you BUILD, not where you work.

Here's what made it possible: Spring 2025: I bought my mom a house. She'd lived in the same place for 31 years. Far from us. Google's equity made it happen. When that closed, I realized: I'd achieved the goal that made Google "worth it."

After 6.5 years, I just left Google. Not because I was laid off. Because I chose to. Here's the story 🧵

The irony? Senior engineers with the MOST knowledge benefit the MOST from AI. Your years of experience aren't being replaced - they're the context that makes AI actually useful. Plan exhaustively. Code rapidly.

Compilers didn't make assembly programmers obsolete. They made programming accessible to millions. AI won't make engineers obsolete. But engineers who refuse AI might make themselves obsolete.

"I don't need AI to code for me" is the new "I don't need a compiler." Both statements reveal the same identity crisis that happens every generation in tech. 🧵

🎟️ FIFA confirmed to @TheAthleticFC a new approach for 2026 World Cup Tickets Visa Presale: FIFA to scrub duplicate ticket applications from the same household (NOT disqualify all). Roommates can apply separately, but rules for multigenerational households & others remain murky
Henry Bushnell@HenryBushnell

A 2026 World Cup ticket rule that FIFA hardly communicated has sparked confusion. There's a one-entry-per-household limit... but what, exactly, constitutes a household? As the first lottery deadline nears, FIFA has *some* answers: nytimes.com/athletic/66359…
