If Bruno Fernandes played under Alex Ferguson, he would have won a lot of premier leagues, no doubt and his status would have been even higher. If Roy keane played in the post Fergie Era and with VAR, he would be trophyless and would get at least 3 red cards per season with the way he played football. Just because you had it during United best years does not mean you can talk trash about the best player and captain we’ve had for a very very long long time.

People going into bat for Roy Keane because he's a Manchester United legend miss the point. He isn't being criticised for his contributions as a player, that is entirely separate from this issue with Bruno Fernandes. Keane lied when he spoke about Bruno Fernandes. It has been called a misquote, but it was worse - he lied. When called out, he responded with a childish IG story that dodged any & all accountability for said lie. If you aren't separating player from person, you're way off the mark. Defending him based upon 'standards' is embarrassing & does not make him or those defending the bearer of them the way they think it is. Bruno Fernandes quite literally said you're welcome to criticise me but do not lie about things I have never said. If you can't understand understand why all of this is a problem, it's because you might be part of it.

LVG rid us of an all timer. Di Maria would’ve handled that RW position for the better part of a decade. He had 10 assists in the league that year, I think it was third best in the league despite playing 1200 fewer minutes than the top 2. I will always look back fondly on his time at the club, I know what I saw

Roy Keane did a lot for this club on the pitch and was a GREAT captain. But he also went rogue and went crazy in that interview and still holds a grudge with Fergie. So much time has gone by but he hasn’t changed his tune. Right now, he’s simply just seeking attention.

The best thing Manchester United did this season was finally surrounding Bruno Fernandes with quality players. The improved movement, intelligence and finishing around him is a big reason he broke the Premier League assist record. Imagine if he still had the same attack from two years ago… 💀
