Eid Mubarak everyone.
It was a very good day between trees in a rainy and windy weather.
Eid days shouldn't be stressful. People must let go of what makes them feel stressful, especially if there's no outcome of that stress.
But seeing the company itself adding an AI assistant that does that job.
Makes me ask many questions.
But I'll keep them to myself for now.
And I may do a comprehensive video in YT about this matter from A to Z. Since I spent the last 2 weeks reading and labing.
I mean, I'm not saying that it is new or anything.
Because last month I did my internship project about this matter. Where i added Netmiko MCP server, and let Claude SSH to Palo alto and Cisco switch/router and troubleshoot them and add/remove configs.
And yes it did it well.
Fortinet released yesterday fortiOS 8. (Not publicly available yet).
And guess what? exactly AI and MCP are there hhhh.
So why am I doing this tweet? Because I knew it. And I know Palo alto, Sophos, F5 and Cisco and all solutions will do the same. Windows server, yes too?
AI is fun.
yesterday's tweet complaining about Qwen's speed was a wrong call.
it is not slow, but when I blocked Claude APIs to make OpenClaw fail to Qwen. OpenClaw kept re-trying with Claude for 30s then it went to Qwen.
so. the setup is perfect now. let's make something.
ah zid kml.
tried the Model Failover. but Qwen was't having it, it was slow as hell.
that's Opus 4.6 mtl3ha ala Qwen hhhhhhhh.
My setup is:
- OpenClaw on RP 5 (Claude Primary, Qwen Failover).
- My Desktop with Ollama with Qwen 2.5-14b
- Home router + AP for redundancy.
still working on that project.
now focusing on this:
a whiteboard, you can add devices that you want, QCOW2 extension (for now). and they will just spawn there, with alpine and Cisco mocked as pre-packaged there.
will also add support to IOL and vIOS and everything with time.
just found the most nostalgic game ever for me.
i been playing so much when I was a kid. win98/xp.
I wasn't able to finish it back then. so it is time to finish it rn hhhh.
it is: Dangerous Dave 1990
booting issues = RAM bottleneck.
a month ago i tweeted about an issue with FortiWeb that it refuses to boot in EVE-NG whereas it worked on VMWare.
later i fixed the issue by simply increasing the RAM by 2 more GBs.
same today, had issues with NXOS refused to boot. IT WAS RAM.
i don't want to start preparing for CCNP yet, i want to be good at firewalling and network security as CCNA level before putting the bar higher and pursuing CCNP.
also i did not decide yet if i should go with ENCOR or SCOR. or should i just be a 2x haha.
a blog about this soon.
leaving a big city and going back to your small city feels amazing.
i love going outside and see street dogs and cats, this is what I miss most.
but each city has its pros and cons, it is fair i think.
glad that my application "Security Is a Shared Responsibility: Network vs Application" has been accepted to be part of BlaBlanConf 2026.
it will be in the las9 lmofid concept.
excited to do something great.
well, i'm the first one to hack his mother haha.
i watched a video of David Bombal years ago of how to capture the VoIP calls.
but things are different here in Morocco since we use a dedicated tunnel for VoIP with the RJ11 cable, so his method is not working for me.
hacker can hear the complete call and see numbers too.
so if someone plugged a raspberry pi or something, BUT SERIOUSLY IM STILL LOOKING IF IT IS POSSIBLE WIRELESSLY .
i may document and explain everything in a PDF and share it on LinkedIn later, for education purpose of course
so this is not something dangers worldwide, but it is here and in some countries that leaves the home router with their admin/admin credentials.
many times i found the coffee router to be accessible with default credentials, so this can be dangers.
