China...i am lost for words... i have never seen an Opening with so much soul in my fucking life, the concept of it being first person throughout is fucking genius, the song is perfect, the feeling of immersion is utterly incredible and the way the characters actually feel real is just insane... Opening of the Year contender imo...easily...

@dontbetaken1 Cote is hard to adapt, better consumed in light novel format. The thing is you can have mappa adapt it and it still wouldnt be well translated just better animation but how far can that truly take an anime such as cote? Lotm fans had issues with its donghua despite peak animation

@repaent @GuraGem 99% of the list is japanese thats the thing, even if one of those freelancers worked on invincible, it would only do so much. the art direction, comp, style, overall direction and aesthethic wont change.

@dook_sin32516 @GuraGem Brother, such disrespect to freelancers. A good chunk of these are not Japanese. JJK clearly relies on international freelancers, so saying ‘Japan is better at animation’ is just feigning ignorance of how the industry actually works.
