#ThisStrangeEngine, the Deluxe Edition 2024, by #Marillion, is a good box set. It's got four CDs in it. One has the album itself. Two CDs comprise a concert, and the fourth one has b-sides and bonus tracks. It also comes with a blu-ray that's got a whole bunch of stuff on it.

I've been listening to a couple of "old" albums. One is #PearlJam's #LiveOnTwoLegs. That one's perfect, and has songs from their first five albums. The other is #AmyWinehouse's #BackToBlack, which isn't my usual style of music, but is quickly growing on me.

#ElectricWizard has a good #doommetal album called #BlackMagicRitualsandPerversionsVol1. It's recorded live but without an audience. I love doom metal. #HeavyMetal

The newest #BodyCount album, #Merciless, is one of the best albums I've gotten this year. I like the songs #LyingMotherfucka and their version of #ComfortablyNumb, but the whole album is awesome. #HeavyMetal

I'm presently listening to #ThePronoiaSessions by #Atreyu. I like it more each time I listen to it! #HeavyMetal

The band #Poppy has released #NegativeSpaces. This album is a lot heavier than Poppy's previous album, #Zig. They're both great, but I like the heavier music better. #HeavyMetal

#YoungandBored #TheCompleteWastedYouth contains an album and two EPs from the band #WastedYouth. The EPs are called #ReagansIn and #GetOutOfMyYard! The LP is #BlackDaze. This music is great #punk and #heavymetal!

#TheRollingStones have released another live album called #WelcomeToShepherdsBush. It's a surprise gig they did in London that contains a lot of songs besides their classics. #TheSmashingPumpkins have released their latest album which is called #AghoriMhoriMei.

#LazySod by #DeepPurple is one of the best EPs I've ever gotten. I just love the lead guitar and the keyboard playing in that band. #ClassicRock

#JudasPriest has released the 50th Anniversary edition of their first album, #RockaRolla. It's a lot different than #InvincibleShield! I like Rocka Rolla better, but that's my opinion. Also, #Opeth's #TheLastWillandTestament is nearly as good. #HeavyMetal

#HittintheBitchinSwitch is an excellent live album by #Stoner. #ThroughStormsAhead by #AsILayDying is really heavy. @MarilynManson's #OneAssassinationUnderGodChapter1 is a lot better than his previous album. And #Xandria's #UniversalTales is a good EP. #HeavyMetal

#LinkinPark actually has a new album out called #FromZero. There is obviously a new singer, #EmilyArmstrong. I think it's cool that they have a female singer now. #ChesterBenningtonRIP #NuMetal #HeavyMetal

#BolanBoogie #TheBestOfTRex contains 2 CDs with 36 of the best #TRex songs by #MarcBolan. My favorites right now are #Jeepster and #MetalGuru. This is an excellent collection of songs.

There's a great new album by #Tribulation called #SubRosaInAeternum. It's got some superb melodies and gothic vocals. Also, #Skillet has released #Revolution, which reminds me of #numetal. I like the fact that it has female vocals on some songs. #HeavyMetal

There's a new box set by @JoniMitchell called #ArchivesVolume4TheAsylumYears (1976-1980). It includes live performances, demos, and studio session work from that time period. Joni was branching out into #jazz during this period.

I'm presently listening to #TheNighttheZombiesCame by the #Pixies. This is fine #alternative rock. The music is rather subdued and the lyrics are surreal, but it's good.

#GreenDay has released the box set #AmericanIdiot2. It features a CD with the album #AmericanIdiot, a CD with live tracks and bonus tracks, a demos CD, and a live CD at Irving Plaza. It also comes with 2 DVDs. This really is a superb box set. #PunkRock #HeavyMetal

#Behemoth has released #XXXYearsOvBlasphemy, a triple-live CD. #HIM has released a compilation album called #WhenLoveandDeathEmbrace. #Motorhead has #WeTakeNoPrisoners, a singles album from 1995-2006. And #DevinTownsend has the new release #Powernerd. #HeavyMetal

Currently listening to #IWantBlood by @JerryCantrell. The vocals remind me of #AliceInChains, but that's probably because he's a member of that band. My favorite song on this album is the title track. #HeavyMetal

#Ensiferum has released their new album #WinterStorm. Ensiferum is a #folkmetal band who utilizes both electric and acoustic guitars as well as keyboards to synthesize orchestral arrangements and other instruments. #HeavyMetal
