@davewhisenhunt @DrJillStein @Cernovich @TheDemocrats Systematic capture of every nook and cranny of the perpetual state. Many Repubs know this, and help them, because they too are captured. [We]🇺🇸 are awakening, but the cancer is now well established. It is terminal to the republic if [We]🇺🇸 fail to expose and dismantle it in time.

⚡️X is the breach. That is the real thing people are feeling. For years, the modern information order worked through soft coordination. Governments pressured. NGOs framed. media laundered. platforms throttled. advertisers punished. academics moralized. The point was never to ban every dissident idea outright. The point was to make deviation expensive, stigmatized, throttled, and slow. Public discourse stayed formally open while becoming structurally managed. X broke that management layer. That is why the reaction to it has been so intense. People keep talking as if the fight is about tone, moderation policy, misinformation, or platform culture. The real fight is over who gets to define reality first. Before the breach, elite institutions had far more control over sequencing. Which facts surfaced, which narratives hardened, which topics stayed radioactive, which people got professionally isolated before their views could spread. X damaged that sequencing power. That is the consciousness shift. People can now watch authority being constructed in real time instead of receiving it as a finished product. They can see the frame before the frame settles. They can see what gets memory-holed, what gets amplified, what gets coordinated, what gets ignored. Once enough people see that process directly, legitimacy changes. It no longer feels sacred. It starts looking tactical. That is very dangerous for the establishment. A system that governs through narrative management cannot tolerate a major channel where unsupervised reality keeps leaking through. The existence of a space where institutional consensus can be openly contested at scale is itself destabilizing. It weakens monopoly. It empowers counter-elites. It speeds memetic warfare. It makes official narratives harder to freeze into place. So when Schellenberger says free speech is hanging by a thread, the emotional compression is understandable. The underlying structure is real. X became the main visible platform where elite narrative control lost its smoothness. A lot of the old regime’s power depended on everyone pretending the censorship system was not real. X made that pretense harder to sustain. Once the public sees the existence of the management machine, the machine loses some of its magic. That is why they want it contained. They want the breach narrowed, pressured, regulated, advertiser-strangled, payment-strangled, app-store-disciplined, legally menaced, reputationally isolated, and eventually normalized back into a safer node of controlled discourse. They do not need to shut it down completely. They need to make it less sovereign. So my real view is this: Free speech is in open war. X is the most important contested territory in that war. Musk is the man who blew a hole in the narrative fortress and refused to repair it. That is why he is loved, hated, mythologized, demonized, and constantly pressured. The establishment does not mainly fear his personality. It fears the loss of narrative monopoly his platform exposed.
Defiant L’s@DefiantLs

Michael Shellenberger: "I think free speech is hanging by a thread globally and that thread is Elon Musk… What's happening on X is the change of consciousness and… the establishment is desperate to either shut it down or censor it"

Let me get this straight. There's SNAP fraud, EBT fraud, Medicaid and Medicare fraud, home healthcare fraud, daycare fraud, medical transportation fraud, and hospice fraud, but definitely, absolutely no election fraud?

The first government shutdown happened because John Thune is weak. The SAVE America Act hasn’t passed because John Thune is weak. The No Rogue Rulings Act limiting out of control district court judges isn’t law because John Thune is weak. Trump’s EO banning sex changes for kids isn’t codified into law because John Thune is weak. Trump’s EO banning men from playing in women’s sports isn’t codified into law because John Thune is weak. The DHS partial shutdown is ongoing because John Thune is weak.

Everyone understands that matters regarding Iran will resolve. And when it does there will ultimately be a long term, mutually beneficial partnership developed. Probably even allies if you can believe it. And as a result of the outcome, all the math regarding the Middle East will forever change for the better. However, and this is the important part, it will not be an Iran with the current regime at the helm. This is also why the left is misreading any negotiations taking place. They’re thinking the current regime retains power and continues forward. That’s simply not going to happen, IMO.

What’s clear is that we’re all legit traversing what amounts to one of the craziest times in history. That being the case, it seems like a good time to keep your tray tables up and your seatbelts fastened. Turbulence was always going to be expected. One more thing to consider is taking stock of the gravity of the moment and appreciating being alive to experience it.

One of my contrarian takes: Society peaked in the 80s, and it’s been in slow decline ever since. It was the last era of widespread optimism. You can feel it in the music and movies. “Excess meets innocence.” The 80s also mark the end of the analog world—local economies, in-person everything, and a certain forced simplicity. Malls, movie theaters, magazines, and BMX. Then, beginning in the 90s, came the tidal wave of tech: Mobile phones The internet Social media AI All incredible innovations, with lots of positives. But on the whole I think they’re *net negatives* for society. We replaced a finite, real-world experience with an infinite, digital one. Infinite information. Infinite comparison. Infinite distraction. Human’s aren’t wired for that, and you can see the consequences all around us.

TV "Programming" free since 1998, and so I have no idea who Jessica Tarlov👆is, and not a care in the world about what she says, because it is clear she's a propagandist. [We]🇺🇸 would very much like to make it completely impossible for foreign aliens to cast votes in [Our]🇺🇸 elections, while waving THEIR flags (right to jail !). She may be right about one thing, in that it very well is likely to be a LOT OF PEOPLE, who should NOT be voting at all. She knows this. She even knows [We]🇺🇸 know this. But she's training a LOT OF USEFUL IDIOTS to WANT to continue to allow foreign aliens to vote, so long as they are voting for THEIR tribe (which they most certainly are), and THAT makes it just FINE in THEIR book. [We]🇺🇸 Have Had Enough !

Jessica Tarlov says.. "Passports are expensive, documents don’t always match, and the process can be a mess (been there). We should be making voting easier, not adding more hurdles. Democrats can own this by proposing their own bill that accepts a range of IDs, and includes automatic voter registration and Election Day as a national holiday for starters.” What's your response to this? 🫤

Now let's do "insurrection." Thanks to citizen calls for investigations, ample video footage of questionable ballot drop-offs, statistical impossibilities, and basic math, the cheaters felt the heat from the 2020 election steal. MSM hid things as best they could, but millions were talking about the impossible math that made a strong case for fraud. Biden's 81 million-vote victory was simply not believable to anyone with a working brain. They needed to certify the steal on time or risk complete exposure. For the first time in US history, electoral certification was truly in doubt. Would the US certify an installation? If certification failed, there would likely be an election investigation—maybe even a real one. Then, like a gift from the devil himself, talk of a Patriot protest emerged (which could easily have been planted by others, by the way). The cheaters were elated! This was even more fun than masks and social distancing. Patriots from across the US planned a road trip to exercise their constitutional right to peacefully protest. The cheaters would create an epic event to distract from the steal and push it across the finish line amid the chaos. On 1/6, Pelosi, the Feds, FBI, Capitol Police, and a few bad actors (like Ray Epps) were swarming—not to protect the Capitol, but to direct the "movie." If these Patriots had come to insurrect, it would have been a bloodbath. Where were their guns? 🤡 When was their moment of surrender? 🤡 And if the 14,000+ hours of unreleased footage supported "insurrection," we would have seen it years ago. The truth is Americans came to protest, then went home and had dinner with their families. The truth is people were arrested and jailed (but not charged) with insurrection for their part in the insurrection. (Read that twice.) The truth is that all of this was only about certifying the steal. Instead, Biden and his handlers were installed to destroy the Republic of the United States for the sake of the NWO. THIS WAS THE REAL INSURRECTION.

We know that they cheat. They know that they cheat. They even know that we know that they cheat. But still they cheat. And they do so while we know they’re lying thru their teeth about matters related to our elections. So we’re left having to suffer these stupid public discussions over election security (voter ID for example) as though all parties are acting in good faith when we know damn well otherwise. This sad dance is admittedly painful to endure as they’ve successfully brainwashed much of their base. That’s why these mind zombies are losing their minds right on cue. However, and FWIW, I do believe we do get there. Things will ultimately end up in our favor. So there’s that. On the bright side, at least it’s a long/terrible song. 😀

The only political commentator I ever respected and listened to was Rush Limbaugh. That’s the bar. Not this new breed of political grifters like Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson. Rush was America First and MAGA before it was even a thing. He never wavered, never flipped, always loyal, always consistent, always true to the cause. And when it actually mattered, he proved it. He joined Twitter to support Trump, built a massive following overnight, and the moment Trump was banned, he walked away without hesitation. That’s loyalty. Meanwhile, the rest stayed behind, pundits and politicians alike, chasing attention and likes and calling it principle. That’s the difference. Rush was the gold standard. Everything after him is just noise.

To be fair, I wasn't even out of grade school then, and I had never even heard of a computer until I got to Jr High school. I was just an early budding audiophile who later became a DJ. But THEN, when I stumbled upon the early Macintosh at my first real job, everything changed for me. I've been a tech geek ever since and made an honest living as a network engineer since my first AppleTalk solutions. Fun times, for sure ! It's great to look back at it all and see how far we've come. As an avid consumer of today's AI, I find it so extremely useful. I only WISH Grok was around in the late 80s ! So genuinely nice to cross your path !

@doomannihilator @cqcqcqdx Cool idea. The dream of AI started shortly after the first computer was made. In my article I mention that they have been working on AI for 3 decades, so back to the 50s.

Back then, could you even have imagined today's AI? I sure couldn't. I DID, however, record a list of answers to some fun questions on a mini reel-to-reel tape recorder, and played them back at higher speed, to mimic a computer tone, which wasn't even a thing yet, then played it for my friends, "asking" it questions, and hearing the high tone answers be spoken. I got a lot of wows, from the easily fooled of the bunch. That was my 'AI' of the day in the 1970s. 😎

@cqcqcqdx That is exactly what I did I wrote a bunch of programs that were published, sometime the magazine would include a 3.5" disc to save you the hassle of having to retype the program, this was pre internet. These are AI programs I published in 1987
