Kiefer pup. Poor kid is having another attack of diarrhea. No bugs. No foreign objects. Same consistency & odor with massive bottom inflammation as 2 months ago. The volume is severe. The diaper rash is severe. And the same yeasty ear infection.
With the repeat, we suspect Inflammatory Bowel Disease. IBD is not the IBS that people get. There is no cure and it can be fatal. (Liza has it). You can manage the symptoms so that’s what we’re going to do. I do not want to put him through exploratory surgery for biopsies just yet. If he has another episode we will have to. He is on a slew of medications & got his ears flushed out. We are eliminating all food triggers and putting him on Owen’s food (Z/D). He loooves it.
