My daughter had a student that unalived themselves yesterday. I feel for all the students, teachers and mostly the parents. After my son’s attempt it makes me sick to my stomach and my anxiety goes through the roof.

@JeremyWingert79 Christianity as a whole has a lot of spiritual language baggage that puts up a wall for many who didn’t grow up in a church. It can become a short-hand but the terms can also lose their meaning to believers who over-use them.

Here's a hot take: "Crucified with Christ" is a super bizarre way to describe Christian living, and if you're going to say that kind of stuff you need to know that you're unnecessarily alienating every person who doesn't already belong to your club. Because it sounds BONKERS.

Thank you again for all of your thoughts and prayers, I got to spend 2 days with her, make her laugh, hold her hand, and listen to music with her. She passed this morning and will be missed. RIP Grandma 🙏

I have no idea how long I am going to be here for. I have a Septic Pulmonary Embolism, my PICC-line got infected with Staph and the rest is history. I had no idea how dangerous this was, and without the fever I would have never known or come back to the hospital the day after discharge. I’m truly blessed to be alive. There is so much suffering and I just don’t have the strength to pray, I am truly sad about my health and after years it’s increasingly hard to remain faithful. Please pray for me, I am afraid.

First out of town show since my stent, and lived to tell the tale. I am living proof of heeding signs that something was not right. If you have chest pains, sweating, aching jaw, or nausea (those last two are often how women present) see a Doc. I want you around for a long time.

A friend is coming to try to help fix our vehicle. Im not praying for the car. Im praying for them because they are taking their time and talent to help my family when my husband can't. My husband has never in his life asked for help but he physically can't do anything now.

Yesterday I became a dad of our son. Still can’t believe this is real. Proud of our little family 💚

Today is our son’s 41st birthday. He died in a firefighter training accident at age 20. In early grief, anniversaries are pits of despair we fall into. We have filled those pits with joyous memories of a short life well lived and most loved. We don’t fall, we pause to remember
