Leadership shouldn't be a solo mission. That’s why we are partnering with @helloCandS to recruit the next class of Carnegie Young Leaders, a year-long fellowship designed for teams of young people (ages 14-24) who have a bold idea for addressing a challenge in their community. What you’ll get: 💸Funding: Up to $7,500 to power your project 💡Mentorship: Expert coaching to level up your impact 👥Community: In-person networking and opportunities for peer learning Whether you’re tackling mental health, food deserts, or rural resilience, Carnegie Young Leaders provides the funding, mentorship and community to take your idea from “What if?” to “We did that.” No perfect resume required—just a desire to build and four team members you invite to join you on the journey. Deadline: May 4, 2026. Applications received by March 30th will receive priority review. Apply now or share the opportunity with a young leader in your network: bit.ly/3P3jPIM #CarnegieYoungLeaders #CivicAction #GenZChangemakers

The world can feel like it’s always in crisis. And the concerning news of international conflict in Iran can feel especially heavy. War impacts everyone, but young people are often the ones most directly affected. More than 50% of active duty enlisted personnel are 25 or younger. And across the world, young people are also too often among the innocent civilians affected by the violence. Their lives, futures, and families disrupted in an instant. That’s a lot to carry, especially when it feels out of your control. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, give yourself grace. What you can do: • Take breaks from the news when it gets heavy • Talk about what you’re feeling (it’s okay to ask for support) • Learn ways to cope, care for your mental health, and check in on others • Turn concern into positive action in your own community When the world feels overwhelming, doing something. Service is one of the most powerful ways to support both your community and your own mental health. If you need someone to talk to right now, help is available: 📞 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — Call or text 988 (U.S.) 📱 Crisis Text Line — Text HOME to 741741 If you’re ready to channel your energy into action: Start here → dosomething.org/dosomething-fo… And remember: your voice matters, too. Make sure you’re registered to vote. dosomething.org/vote Then vote. You don’t have to carry the weight of the world alone. 💙

Love your community? Show it. 💙 The way we treat our streets shows up in our waterways. When trash gets left behind, it doesn’t just disappear — it flows straight into the rivers, bays, and oceans we all depend on. That’s why young changemakers are joining Wavemakers and taking action to clean up their streets, protect our waterways, and turn small acts into real impact. You can do it too. Cleanup your block. Protect and LOVE our waterways. And when you take action, you could earn up to a $1,500 scholarship plus volunteer credits for showing up for your community. Ready to make waves? 🌊 bit.ly/46LOKiW
