Bad take. OXY from C9 has used the same gpro for years and is a t1 player. Most players like him, stick to one or two things and keep using it because it build consistency. Or shroud who was a pro, uses only Logitech because he is getting paid to. Most pros/top players are not like the rest of the peripheral people because they won't be sacrificing the muscle memory and performance unless they are getting sponsored to make their own custom peripheral. Tbh, right now peripherals are stale and nothing innovating that is a big wow factor. The last true one in my eyes was Wooting with HE and maybe the super strike. Every other peripheral is now based off bang for the buck and if you're like the rest of us who seek multiple experiences with speed, balance, slow. Or keycap colors and switches sounds and feel. I would rather have someone who hyperfocuses on describing the experience in detail with a presentation matters more than someone who can pay to get carried online. Also, don't get me started on pros/top players who get paid to shill a shit peripheral. Its a rabbit hole.

If there's one thing I think Siege did really right, then it was the decision to have ZERO aim assists for controllers, our native controller players have had a literal decade to improve and some can even compete and beat some of the greatest mouse and keyboard players. Obv we've had issues with cheaters spoofing the controller checks, but atleast we don't end up with people thinking they're good cause a game aims for them.
