Remembering that they were an image used by the Suffragettes in some of their campaign literature. 'The Ravens' are a powerful representation of strength, prophecy and insight. This sums up the strength and courage of the women fighting for justice, fair pay and equal rights in the early 20th Century." While technical precision remains a cornerstone of my work, the focus has shifted towards exploring human identity through carefully selected cinematic imagery." This desire leads to an unsettling tension from the fear of something created being washed away. Spray paint cites graffiti for this reason but also shows techniques of cave painting." 🔹Art in the Ev: Samantha Madgwick (8th July - 21st July) Born and raised in Liverpool, I am a self-taught oil painter. I love nature and my favourite things to paint are moody landscapes and seascapes. As a overthinker, I find solace and calm in the act of painting and each canvas is a space for me to zone out and quiet my mind. Through my work, I aim to create an emotional connection and hope my viewers are able to become fully immersed—where you can almost feel the cool breeze of a forest or the salt of the ocean air. Liverpool Art Fair is fast approaching... Here is what to expect if you are attending the launch on 10th July. ◾Schedule◾ -Doors open at 5pm -There will be a performance by Scrapyard Choir at 6pm -Cellist, Lizzie Elliot will be performing intermittently throughout the night -The event closes at exactly 7pm, as we are kindly hosted by the Royal Liver Building we ask that all visitors depart at this time ◾Access◾ -Entry is through the main doors on the strand -A ramp is situated at the north entrance, opposite the Crowne Plaza allowing wheelchair and compact mobile scooter users to access the building -Liverpool Art Fair takes place on just the ground floor of the Royal Liver Building -Toilets are located just past the main entrance under the staircase opposite the café kiosk -Pets are not allowed inside the Royal Liver building except for in the case of guide dogs ◾Refreshments◾ -There are complimentary refreshments provided, while stocks last ◾Photography◾ -The event will be professionally photographed, if you do not wish to be photographed please pick up a 'no photos' sticker from the welcome desk -We encourage you to take photos of your visit and tag us with #LAF25 or @lpoolartfair on Instagram / Facebook & LinkedIn - Liverpool Art Fair
