This week’s rewards are actually really good. The direction the team is taking finally feels like it rewards players pushing the hardest content, which is a big win. That said I understand the frustration around low field neso rates. The game is in a weird spot trying to balance free to play and low spenders. Dynamic costs make progression feel rough if your limit is around nlomein since the rewards just do not scale well. Fifth job helps a lot with damage and that sense of growth, but a huge part of MapleStory has always been gear progression. When you cannot realistically farm upgrades and early boss drops feel underwhelming it hurts motivation. I am still optimistic they will smooth this out. The game is the most fun it has been for me, I just hope players at all levels can feel that too.
