@clickup @clickup also we've just noticed that if you remove the cover image it re-appears on refresh, all very annoying.

@clickup Yes, adding an image as an attachment via that button in your screenshot or dragging and dropping an image onto the task is automatically setting that image as the cover image which is unwanted behaviour.

@clickup is there a way to stop tasks from having an image by default if there is an image assigned to the task?

If that doesn't get you hot under the collar then nothing will

Thanks for clarifying! 🙌 Task cover images are completely optional and, if you have the necessary permission settings to edit a task, you can remove the cover image by hovering over it, selecting 'Change cover', then clicking 'Remove'. It's not currently possible to disable the task cover image feature to prevent all users from setting a cover image, but we invite you to share this suggestion with our developers! @clickup I mean on the task page. The cover image takes up a lot of screen real-estate and is rarely useful for the information I need when looking at a task

@double_brace Great question! ✨ Are you referring to how your tasks are displayed in Board view? If so, you can disable cover images in the view settings! Here's how: 1. Click 'Customize' in the upper-right corner of the view 2. Select 'Board options' 3. Toggle off 'Cover image'
