FDHS National Honor Society

Hey eagles! Here’s a quick recap of the past few months. NHS is a proud organization dedicated to serving and supporting our community, this newsletter highlights just some of the service projects and activities we’ve hosted so far this school year.

Our NHS Chapter held its final meeting for the 2024-2025 school year. We introduced our newly elected & appointed officers for the upcoming school year. We had the chance to take a group photo of our members, 2025-2026 officers, and advisors. This is the start of a great year!

Cue the applause! 👏 🎬Today, 5/14/25 marks the last NHS meeting for our co-25' Seniors! The National Honor Society is rolling the credits for our seniors' final chapter. Congratulations to our seniors, and thank you to the staff, parents, and advisors who made this possible!

Today, May 6th, 2025, Marks the day of our teacher appreciation week brunch! This year’s theme was “Around The World🌍✈️” We organized a variety of foods for our FDHS staff to enjoy. Our teachers and staff here at FDHS are greatly appreciated! Happy Teachers Appreciation Week!

Induction Post Caption On February 26th, 2025, Our Robert F. Frisby National Honor Society held our 2025 Induction Ceremony! We are proud to say that we had the chance to welcome 47 new inductees into our chapter. And a special thank you to Dr.Monica Goldson for a great speech!

Tis the season to give back! 🎁🎄These are just a few of the wonderful cards from our card-making event! We are thrilled to be able to bring joy to many this season.

On December 12, 2024, Our NHS chapter hosted our Holiday Card-Making event. 🎉It was a pleasure to see everyone show up and show out! We received many creative holiday cards. We also had the chance to enjoy some holiday music, snacks, and a cotton candy machine.

Our FDHS National Honor Society presents our Card making event! This will take place on Thursday December 12, 2024 in the media center from 2:30-4:00 pm.

Hey Eagles, NHS is hosting a clothing and toy drive starting this Monday, November 18 - December 13th, 2024! Support our drive by donating clothes and/or toys.

Hey Eagles! This past Friday, October 25, 2024, we had our blood drive! We would like to thank the American Red Cross for helping us by donating blood to those in need. We would also like to thank the staff and students who contributed.

Our FDHS blood drive is Tomorrow October 25,2024. Support our blood drive and help save lives!

Good Afternoon, Our our first NHS meeting of the 2024-2025 school year will be on September 26th from 2:20-3:30 pm in the media center. We can’t wait to see you all there!

On 8/23/2024 Our NHS leaders had the opportunity to welcome our newest FDHS eagles. We welcomed everybody with an exciting pep rally that consisted of a relay race, dance challenges, red light green light, and so much more! This was a great start to our 2024-2025 school year.

Today June 6, 2024, our NHS Chapter had our last meeting for the 2023-2024 school year! We introduced our new elected and appointed officers for our 2024-2025 school year. We recognized achievements of members in our chapter and prepared for the upcoming school year.

Our Light the Night campaign ends this Thursday!! Please be sure to get as many donations as you can to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We have accomplished MORE than 50% of our goal, keep up the good work!!!

Incredible National Honor Society Induction Ceremony! The Robert F. Frisby Chapter welcomed 56 outstanding inductees with our guest speaker ~ Robert F. Frisby Jr. Mr. Frisby is the son of the former FDHS Principal from 1942-1967 whom our chapter is named. A true guest of honor!

On Thursday, Dec 14, 2023 NHS hosted a Christmas Card Making event. We had a turnout of over 100 students that came out to support! As a result, we were able to brighten those in hospitals who unfortunately couldn't be at home this holiday season.

On Friday Oct 27, 2023, NHS partnered with The American Red Cross to donate blood to those in need. We would like to celebrate the many students and teachers who signed up and donated blood!!
