I turn 30 today. While the last few years have been challenging with chronic pancreatitis, I’m thankful to be in a much better place now. The first picture is me at 130 pounds with a feeding tube shoved up my nose around 2 years ago. The second picture is me at 180 pounds visiting some friends in Austin earlier this month. This journey has taught me so much about resilience, patience, and hope. Even when things felt impossible, I kept fighting, and I’m stronger both physically and mentally. If you’re going through your own struggles, remember that progress is possible, and every small step forward counts.

I was speechless after watching that press conference. Thanks @divafeminist for laying out what was so bone-chilling about what was named (his "bad day") and what was not named-the misogynistic dimensions of anti-Asian racism. To reckon, we have to denounce every bit of it.
