Recovering at Southampton General after a Cardiac Ablation. Fingers crossed it was successful but won't know for 3 months. Have missed my lovely #allotments and hope I'll be able to nurture them again once I get my strength back.

@dougjuk Sorry Doug, I obviously missed your question at the time. The engine is just a source of spares really. It could be rebuilt and certainly has a good bottom end should either of our locos have a catastrophic failure.

Spare #Class37 EE12CSVT engine. This one is ex-37035 and is missing the generator set because 035 failed in service with a main generator flashover and the generator was beyond repair. When 035 went for scrap, a lot of spares were recovered for our loco's. Photo by Kevin Jarvis.

This weekend we were involved in the replacement of Lydney Town level crossing. My part today was working with a team of guys to walk the replacement rails from Lydney junction up to Lydney Town ready for tomorrow.. #deanforestrailway
