Donald Trump was shot. I don’t care what your political views are but the hate for Trump and his supporters has gone too far. People are terrified to admit they support Trump. I’ve been scared myself. Americans shouldn’t live in fear. I support Trump. Many at Sticker Mule do. Many at Sticker Mule also support Biden. The political hate needs to stop. Today a bullet almost killed Donald Trump. He’s got 5 kids. One’s still a teenager. No one should have to die and sacrifice the happiness of their family to run for office. If Donald Trump can risk that, the least the rest of us can do is vocalize our support and help end the hate. The more people realize that kind-hearted, compassionate people support Trump, the sooner the hate will end. I’m speaking up today and will do more in the future to stop this insane political hate. What are some things, aside from Tylenol, pulse/ox, thermometer, Gatorade, that I should have on hand in case I get Covid? W/spouse working & taking no precautions, it’s only a matter of time. Likely can’t take pax due to multiple med allergies.

@KeeshkaBonham My family was in a car together for around 3 hours. My son was c19+ (no clue). No mask for him or for me. The other 3 people masked kn95s because THEY had a known exposure to someone c19+. I’m the only one who got Covid. 🙄 Masks work SO WELL.

@UntoNuggan My husband had laparoscopic knee surgery and was told that it was an “easy” procedure and there were no restrictions other than a brace afterward. He needed physical assistance for a week, and couldn’t drive either! I had no idea that I was becoming a caretaker!!

@dst6n01 If this kid was MY child, I wouldn’t worry. I’d keep providing a literacy rich environment at home and meeting their developmental needs. I’m a native English speaker with an MSEd in Elem Ed, and my 3 kids are teens/young adults. We homeschooled.

PARENTS ONLY: if your 1st grader got this report card, what would you do next to strengthen his reading skills? Why? What activities would you do with your child? Where does your child need help? How would you help them? IDK is an acceptable answer

@conorwinkle @wonderartsy I have this one, has 2 hepa filters. I'll try to open the windows, but I live in canada and here is still raining almost every day. I really hope in between the hepa filters, novavax, enovid and cpc mouthwash something has to work! At the moment I just want to cry

@NatTheCatMom @conorwinkle @wonderartsy I have to share with you my strategy for this situation. Corsi-Rosenthal box at night with air blowing at you and then at your sister (so her breath is directed away from you). Wear a mask in shared spaces. It will give a decent amt of protection.

@conorwinkle @wonderartsy It would be pointless, I share my apartment with my little sister, so even if they have covid, they are going to stay. I'll be sharing a room with my sister and she's not going to use a mask at home. So, I'll catch it either way :(

@JosiahHawthorne I used to be an elementary school teacher. I would just throw that paper away and write a note to school saying that you are opting your kid out of homework. Then prioritize play, connection and reading. There are SO MANY studies that say hw is pointless in elementary.

@curiousdatacat I’ve got a college freshman. Their routine is Covixyl during the day, and Enovid at the end of the day. Since we’ve started this preventative routine, no Covid infections. Both are nasal sprays. Enovid from Israel and Covixyl from Amazon.

The more I understand COVID, the more frightened I am for my college-age kids. Each has been infected 1x. How am I supposed to function knowing how COVID damages the brain, body & immune system? Any other parents feel the same? I’m having nightmares. I’m overwhelmed with grief.
