If you want to get better at FPS games, understanding the game itself and having insight into where enemies are likely to appear is more important than raw aim quality. That said, if you want to react to enemies appearing in unpredictable positions where there’s no data to anticipate them, aim training isn’t strictly necessary but it can definitely help. Aim training alone doesn’t contribute a huge portion to overall skill, but once your FPS fundamentals are solid, additional training like aim drills can help you reach the next level.
