251208 Doyoung’s Instagram Post “This is Doyoung. I will be enlisting in the military. I believe many of you already know, so rather than talking about the news of my enlistment, I wanted to share some of the thoughts and feelings I’ve had while working until now. So I decided to write a few words. Looking back to 2016, from the time I first began releasing songs under the name “Doyoung” until now, I’m filled with gratitude toward everyone who, for whatever reason, has cared for me and liked me. I’d like to express that gratitude a little more specifically. First, to all the SM family members who have worked with me and are still working with me, thank you for turning someone who simply loved singing into a respectable singer. Thanks to everyone I’ve been with, and everyone I’m with now, I began to dream bigger dreams. Doyoung 💬 Hiiii it’s Doyoung hh Today, just one day left before I say a short goodbye to Czennies. There are some things I want to tell you, so I wanted to write a few words like this. I think it’s thanks to Czennies who have supported me for nearly 10 years, or maybe even longer, that I was able to endure, persevere, and come this far. I think I’ve been raised and nurtured by all those unseen loves, the ones that appeared from places I don’t know and couldn’t be seen with my eyes. I’ve always tried to express it, but I’m sorry that it’s never been enough. Once again, thank you so much. There’s something I want to say, carefully. Tomorrow, when the time comes, I hope you won’t come to see me up close, but instead cheer me on from a little farther away. I’m a bit worried that those entering the training center together with me, or everyone going with me, might feel uncomfortable if a complicated situation were to occur. Maybe those concerns won’t happen at all, but the relationship we share has never once been anything but beautiful to me, and I believe there are moments where we’ve both worked hard to keep it that way. That’s why I wanted to say this as we face this brief goodbye. I hope my heart is conveyed to you fully, and I truly hope this gratitude that I’m sending to you, Y/N, reaches you with no misunderstandings. In this complicated, chaotic world where trusting someone can feel scary, I hope at least between us, we can trust each other without fear. Thank you again, today too.
