When will urban developers' obsession with palm trees stop? Residential societies, shopping malls, and along highways, wherever you go, you see this "Dubaification", rows of mostly non-native palm trees. Compared to traditional Indian trees like neem and banyan, they offer little value: minimal shade, poor support for local biodiversity, limited particulate trapping, higher maintenance. Yet they are everywhere just because they are perceived as elite, and "global."

A heated confrontation erupted at the Badami Cave Temples when a Hindu woman objected to a Muslim woman wearing footwear inside the sacred premises. The woman, an employee working in an office located within the heritage site, was seen disrespecting Hindu religious sentiments. Why is a Muslim woman employed at a Hindu heritage site? Would the same arrangement be accepted if roles were reversed, for instance, if a Hindu woman entered a mosque or dargah wearing footwear? Why are only Hindu temples placed under direct government and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) control, when these authorities appear unable or unwilling to safeguard even the basic religious sentiments of the Hindu majority, who are often treated as second-class citizens in their own country?

He installed and worshipped the Sengol in the Parliament. You said it was a political move to win Tamil Nadu. He had hosted China's President Xi Jinping in Mahabalipuram TN. You called it as optics. He organised Kashi Tamil Sangamam to celebrate Tamil language, art, dance, music, and cuisine, and to link Kashi with Tamil soil and spirituality. You said it is plagiarism. He highlighted the Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam as a way to reinforce "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat." You said he is imposing his own language and culture. He wore traditional Tamil attire, veshti angavastram and Tamil style shawl and offered prayers at Ramanathaswamy, Rameswaram, Sri Ranganathaswamy Mandir Srirangam, and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. You called him a show off. He has repeatedly spoken of Tamil as one of the world's oldest living languages, calling it eternal and global, praising festivals like Pongal and Puthandu, and highlighted Tamil cinema and contributions of Tamil people to freedom struggle and nation building. You mocked him and blamed him for always speaking in Hindi. The Tamil Nadu elections are over. Still he brought back your Chola era copper plates, known as the Anaimangalam copper plates, 11th century Chola inscriptions that were taken out of India around 1700 CE, being abroad for about 300 years. In your hatred for the BJP which has never harmed you or wronged you personally, you overlook a leader who has done far more for Tamil Nadu than any of the film stars you have chosen.

Muslims do not offer regular five-time Namaz on roads. It usually happens only during Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Twice a year and only for around 10 minutes, that too when the mosque is full. In recent years, many mosques have started arranging 2–3 Jamaats to ensure people don’t have to pray outside. But the leaders know that this is the only way to divert the attention of their followers. They know, This is the only way to please their followers and make sure they don't question the govt.

A mosque has been looted in a broad daylight, not 500 years ago but in 2026 by the same Indian judiciary which have done this before in case of Babri masjid. So the last umbrella of minorities hope is demolished. India and Muslims will not be the same again.

First the NEET paper leak affecting 22 lakh students. Then CBSE Class 12 students receiving unexpectedly low marks from a broken OSM system - many losing their college eligibility. Now lakhs of CBSE Class 9 students suddenly asked to learn a new language from July 1, with no teachers, no textbooks, and Class 6 books being handed to 14-year-olds as a “transitional” fix. Three exams. Three age groups. One Minister. Dharmendra Pradhan ji has not failed once. He has failed every single age group of India’s students at once. Every announcement plunges children deeper into uncertainty. Every failure goes unpunished. The Education Ministry has become a department of disasters. Prime Minister Modi ji - can you at least apologise to the lakhs of children whose futures you and your Minister have destroyed? #SackPradhan

This is the Jamia Masjid located in Srirangapatnam, where Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan ruled. Look at how temples were demolished and their walls and pillars were covered and converted into a mosque. These MF’s have built nothing only destroyed! Please do not react with angry emojis 🙏

Her name was Niloufer. She was born on January 4, 1916 in Istanbul. Her mother Adile Sultan was a granddaughter of Ottoman Sultan Murad V. She grew up in palaces, educated in France, fluent in French, Turkish and English. She was one of the last princesses of the Ottoman Empire. In 1931, at the age of 15, she was married to Prince Moazzam Jah, the second son of the Nizam of Hyderabad, the wealthiest royal in the world at the time. She arrived in Hyderabad knowing almost nothing about India. She learned to wear a sari. She learned Urdu. She refused to observe purdah. While other women of the Nizam's family remained behind closed doors, Niloufer attended public events, charity functions and social gatherings. International magazines named her one of the ten most beautiful women in the world. But behind the glamour her private life was painful. She could not have children. In 1948 her husband took a second wife. In 1952 he divorced Niloufer after 21 years. Three years before the divorce her beloved maid Rafatunnisa died during childbirth because there were no adequate medical facilities. Niloufer said this. “No more Rafaths shall die.” She convinced the Nizam to build a specialty hospital for women and children. It was built in Red Hills, Hyderabad and opened in 1953. The Nizam named it Niloufer Hospital. She never saw it open. She had already left for France. She spent her remaining years in Paris. She died on June 12, 1989. She was 73 years old. Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad still stands today. It has 500 beds and treats thousands of mothers and children every year. She never became a mother. She made sure thousands of others could. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

Location: Dhar, Madhya Pradesh After the Indore High Court declared Kamal Maula Mosque as a temple, the idol was installed and hawan and puja-paath were performed. Remember, declaring a mosque a temple does not change its existence or identity.
