@DePaulPrepMBB DPP- true or false….your team has recruited players on the team receiving scholarships. Youre a private institution, paying players is definitely a thing and beating public schools with boundaries isn’t the flex you think it is.

Half the reason I don’t want step out is Iowa wrestling would be even more unwatchable than it already is. As this cascades to youth, does skill development suffer as increased incentive to teach push out tactics? Me thinks so

The only way you can find out how good you are is by giving yourself a chance. Most of us excuse, rationalize, or give up before we've even given ourselves a shot. Put yourself in position to do something. Don't obsess over whether it'll work out or not. Give yourself a shot.

One thing Penn State does that no one talks about is they don't get into crazy scrambles very often. It's all about clean finishing and like Lilledahl just did, bail out if you miss the finish. Not only is it a winning strategy, but it keeps you healthy long-term. Super impressive the way they approach the sport.

It's one of one. Doesn't mean the wrestlers at the Worlds or Olympics aren't more skilled, just that folkstyle wrestling over 3 days in this atmosphere at the highest level at the end of the season is something that provides a challenge unlike anything else in the world. ❤️💪

There is nothing like the NCAA tournament. Worlds is cool, the Olympics is cool, but NCAAs is DIFFERENT. I truly believe some of the best foreigners in the world couldn’t handle the NCAA tournament.
