However, it was around this time we started to get good again - we were a much better side with Ronaldo, Saha and Rooney

What do you think about Rashford from an England POV based on performances in last 12 months?
I realise there aren’t a million options on the LW but I find his play quite hectic & loose and without much to show for it when it comes to the final shot/cross/pass.

England do this every tournament. Get hung up on a player left out who would be the solution to all our problems, if only they were. I personally really rate TAA but we need to be prepared to leave out great players for the collective good.

Still can’t believe that England are going to the World Cup without arguably their best passer. Watching fringe candidates labour at Wembley highlights even more the nonsense of Alexander-Arnold’s omission. He’s a game-changing option from the bench. If you have pace out wide in Gordon/Rashford and Saka/Madueke/Bowen and want to launch a quick counter, TAA can deliver. If England are in a shoutout, he can deliver. Risk/reward. #ENG

Both might or might not have been penalties.
They are subjective, in the grey zone.
So on-field decision stands.
VAR's role is not, and ever has been, to create consistency of decision making.
Each is judged individually.
