Question: Does anyone else not feel inclined to listen to audiobooks but only because you’re excessively picky about voices? If the narrator’s voice doesn’t sound like the one in my head when I read the book or it doesn’t match the story for me, I know it would put me off😅. (Yes btw, I fully admit that it’s a ridiculous reason & overly demanding but the sound of someone’s voice is really important to me - maybe it’s because I grew up with a singer as a mom, I don’t know- but does anyone else feel similarly??)

@klhicks912 The Goldfinch was insufferable, unbelievable, and just uninteresting. I didn’t love the writing, but I really hated the story… and I’d had such high hopes.

I regret attempting to read 50 shades of gray. It's three minutes of my life I will never get back again
