Rotator Interval and Proximal Humerus Anatomy: The rotator interval lies between the upper subscapularis and anterior supraspinatus, with the biceps tendon running deep. The fracture line between the greater and lesser tuberosities sits just behind the biceps groove. Notably, the ascending branch of the anterior humeral circumflex artery supplies ~85% of the humeral head’s blood.
