@policywishes It’s an interesting argument about “smart people often show antisocial traits” when I’m learning the evidence suggests higher test scores predict LESS future disciplinary action, not more.

There are intangibles that make up a good doctor.
I do not believe those intangibles are less prevalent in Asians.

We shouldn’t discriminate based on race. In med school admissions or anywhere else.

@moultano Money. And, medical schools prefer that undergraduate institutions pre-screen their applicants for them.

I don't get why law and medicine don't both start your real training in undergrad. Seems like a huge waste of life to make you get a bachelor's first.

3. And I don't think that "not amenable to reform" is true. Take my own profession -- law. In most places in the United States, you need to attend law school for three years and then pass a bar examination to practice law.
