I try to not overshare #onhere, but I’ve just come out of a short stint in ICU. (Non-Covid. I will be fine in time and have an amazing support system.) Our healthcare workers are so tired. Immunocompromised and disabled people are tired. Covid isn’t “seasonal” and it’s not over.

Sad news to share. Richard King, Professor Emeritus at Nottingham, died on 18 April. Richard was Chair of BAAS from 1992-1995, and was one of our first BAAS Honorary Fellows (2009). We pass on our deepest condolences to Richard's family and colleagues. histsociety.blogspot.com/2012/04/richar…
