Too long. What do lab tests help diagnose? Heart attack, infection, kidney failure, critical electrolyte disturbance, anemia that might need blood transfusion.
If your Family Doctor wants answers, waiting 3-4 weeks for one is too long.

Measles cases rose by 10 million (20%) when vaccine levels dipped below 75% in 2023. This resulted in the deaths of ~100, 000 people in 2023, most of them being children. So either vaccines work, or this is one huge coincidence...

Not to minimize the suffering in the waiting room but it is those stoic elderly Canadians left for days "boarded" in our ER hallways who are the ones who truly suffer from state sanctioned torture, robbed of their dignity and their basic health care needs unmet.

@HSpidell Yes. Bandaid solutions fit in an election cycle. Real investment and system change takes time and patience. Crises now were known and preventable in many ways decades ago.
