@Ames20024 @volcaholic1 No. It is deadly for some. Please remember some autistic people are very sensitive to heat. Some have faulty thermostats. The consequences may be deadly & even more so with sensory overwhelm. Trust me on this!

This kind of heat would be extreme in the UK even in the middle of summer, never mind May. Kew Gardens has provisionally hit 34.8°C today, making it the hottest May day ever recorded in the UK and smashing the previous record by around 2°C. But apparently we’re all just “overreacting” again.

Robert Jenrick says the DWP states there is £10 Billion of fraud in the welfare system. No they don't. That figure combines fraud AND official error. Also worth noting that an estimated £24 Billion of welfare payments is unclaimed by eligible people each year. #LBC
